The American Medical Association (AMA) is excited to announce a new way for your organization to access the Current Procedure Terminology (CPT®) Standard Data File: the CPT Zip API, available through the AMA Intelligent Platform.
No action is required unless you would like to use the API. AMA Royalties Portal downloads remain unchanged, and the files are identical from both access methods.
API Features
With this API, you can automate file downloads, eliminating the need for manual download. The API provides a full file (not direct system integration) and includes:
Releases Endpoint: Check available files.
Files Endpoint: Access specific releases.
Daily Limit: Up to 10 calls across endpoints.
Production User Limit: 3 users with Production API access, unlimited users with sample data Staging access.
